12 MILE LOOP OVER LAMBERT BRIDGE
WEST DRY CREEK ROAD / DRY CREEK ROAD
Distance: 12 miles
Description: Through the vineyards of the Dry Creek Valley area. This is one of the most scenic routes for cycling in Sonoma County.
Facilities: There are many restaurants and stores in Healdsburg.
Dry Creek General Store along the route is a great place for lunch.
Route: From Spoke Folk Cyclery on Center Street at Mill Street. Turn right on Mill and proceed west on Mill. Mill Street becomes Westside Road under the freeway. Continue on Westside Road. Turn right onto West Dry Creek Road. Stay on this road for about 4 or 5 miles. Turn right onto Lambert Bridge Road. At the intersection of Lambert Bridge Road and Dry Creek Road is the Dry Creek Road Store. From the store turn left onto Dry Creek Road (if you’re on Lambert Bridge Road this would be a right-hand turn). Stay on Dry Creek Road about 4 miles. Go under the freeway then turn right at the signal at Grove Street. Grove Street turns into Vine Street at North Street. Continue on to Mill Street, turn left and cross Healdsburg Avenue. Spoke Folk Cyclery is just ahead at Mill Street and Center Street.
20 MILE LOOP OVER YOAKIM BRIDGE
WEST DRY CREEK ROAD / DRY CREEK ROAD
Distance: 20 miles
Description: Through the vineyards of the Dry Creek Valley area. This is one of the most scenic routes for cycling in Sonoma County. Facilities: There are many restaurants and stores in Healdsburg.
Dry Creek General Store along the route is a great place for lunch.
Time and difficulty: Approximately 2 to 2.5 hours at a moderate pace at 10 mph. This is a circular route with rolling hills through vineyards and past wineries. Route is suitable for families with older children and recreational riders.
Route: From Spoke Folk Cyclery on Center Street at Mill Street. Head west on Mill Street, go under freeway. Route becomes Westside Road. Loop: Take left on Kinley, right on Magnolia, which becomes Kinley again, left on Westside Road, right on West Dry Creek Road. Continue several miles north on West Dry Creek Road. At the “Not a through road” sign, continue on about 2 miles to visit the Preston Winery, where there is a picnic area and restrooms. Along with wine, Preston bakes fresh bread. Return to intersection with Yoakim Bridge and take a left on Yoakim Bridge Road, right on Dry Creek Road, (Dry Creek Grocery is at the Lambert Bridge crossing), right on Grove Street and left on Mill Street to Spoke Folk Cyclery.
Option: There is a 2.5 – to – 3 mile loop on Magnolia off Westside Road just past the freeway at the beginning of the ride that is quite scenic and totally flat. There is fairly light traffic on all roads except Dry Creek Road, which has a little more traffic and wide shoulders. The Dry Creek General Store’s bar has restroom facilities available to patrons of the store.
OVER CANYON ROAD TO GEYSERVILLE
WEST DRY CREEK ROAD / DRY CREEK ROAD
Distance: About 32 miles
Description: The terrain on West Dry Creek is very scenic with many famous wineries. Canyon Road is a slight grade with good shoulders. Alexander Valley Road is narrow with little or no shoulders.
Time and difficulty: About 3 to 3.5 hours at a moderate pace at 10 mph. This is a circular route through the vineyards.
Facilities: The Dry Creek General Store makes a great lunch stop and has restroom facilities for patrons. Also, Diavola Pizzeria in Geyserville is a wonderful place for lunch or dinner.
Route: From Spoke Folk Cyclery on Center Street at Mill Street. Turn right on Mill and proceed west on Mill. Mill Street becomes Westside Road under the freeway. Continue on Westside Road. Turn right on West Dry Creek Road and travel several miles before turning right at the Yoakim Bridge, and right on Dry Creek Road for a short jog. Turn left on Canyon Road.
After crossing Highway 128, take a left a few miles later on Geysers Road. Turn right at Red Winery Road, right at Pine Flat Road, and right on Highway 128 (Alexander Valley Road). A couple miles after passing the former Jimtown Store, turn right on Lytton Station Road, make a short left on Healdsburg Avenue, and quickly turn right on Lytton Springs Road.
Cross the railroad tracks, go under the freeway and proceed nearly one mile. At Ridge Vineyards, turn left on Chiquita road, a picturesque country road through rolling hills. Turn right on Grove Street, which becomes Vine Street (follow bike lanes). Continue on to Mill Street, turn left and cross Healdsburg Avenue. Spoke Folk Cyclery is just ahead at Mill Street and Center Street.

Calling All Women! Are you ready to discover or rediscover a love of bicycling? Come ride with us!
The Biker Chicks are a group of women cyclists dedicated to getting more women out road riding. Rides are open to any woman who wants to join us!

Annadel Composite MTB Team
The A-Team is a composite team for all middle and high school student-athletes in 6th through 12th grade in the greater Santa Rosa area from Healdsburg to Cotati and everything to the east whose school does not have a NICA sanctioned team. There are no tryouts and no drops. Everyone is welcome regardless of their ability or skill level. Racing is optional but highly encouraged.
